Two levers. Both in the holders' hands.
v0 is just the first draft.
Every other coin is finished the day it launches. Nioc goes live with its name, ticker and image, and holders can change any of them later.
Any holder proposes a change.
One proposal, one change: a new name, ticker, image, description, link or product. Images are pinned when the proposal opens, so voters see exactly what they're voting on.
Holders vote with their bag.
Your vote weighs as much as your $NIOC balance when the proposal opens. Voting is a signed message: no transfer, no network fee.
Same mint. New coin.
When a vote passes, the new identity is written to the coin's pump.fun metadata and its DEX Screener profile. The mint, the holders and the chart never move.
Coins can't change. So they get vamped.
The narrative moves, someone launches a copy under the new name, and the liquidity and attention leave with it. Every pivot is a new mint, and every new mint splits the community again.
Nioc changes instead.
When the narrative moves, holders vote and the coin moves with it, on the same mint, with the same holders and the same chart. A copy offers nothing the original can't already become.
Everything people see. Nothing they own.
A memecoin is a contract plus an identity. The contract stays put. The identity is open to the holders, as often as they vote to change it.
Name and ticker
Rename the coin when the meta moves. $NIOC today, whatever holders choose tomorrow.
Image and banner
Swap the icon and header everywhere the coin shows up: pump.fun, DEX Screener, wallets.
Story and links
Rewrite the description, website, X and Telegram. The narrative belongs to the holders.
The product
Point the coin at a new app, agent or idea. If holders want it to be something else, it becomes that.
A vamp, or one vote.
| A vamp or relaunch | Nioc | |
|---|---|---|
| New mint needed | Yes, every time | Never |
| Holders keep their bag | Only if they sell and rebuy | Yes, untouched |
| Liquidity | Split between old and new | Stays in one place |
| Chart history | Starts from zero | Kept |
| Who decides the pivot | Whoever launches the copy first | The holders, by vote |
| Time to pivot | A new launch, a new raid | One vote |
pump.fun throws the key away.
On a normal pump.fun launch, the right to update a coin's metadata is given up at launch, so its identity is frozen forever. Nioc is built on Shaw's open-source version of pump.fun, which let us keep that right and hand it to a holder-vote program instead of a dev.
One contract for the coin's whole life. Every version trades on the same chart.
No wallet can change the coin on its own. Only a passed holder vote can.
No limit on how many times holders can rewrite it. v0 is the first draft.
Hard to hijack, easy to use.
| Rule | Default | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Voting window | 24 hours | Long enough for every time zone |
| Quorum | 5% of supply | A handful of wallets can't rename the coin overnight |
| To pass | More than 50% yes | Simple majority of votes cast |
| Timelock | 6 hours | Time to spot a bad edit before it goes live |
| Changing these rules | 66% yes, 10% quorum | The rules should be harder to change than the name |
Where $NIOC stands
Not live yetThe contract address will be posted on this site first. If anyone offers $NIOC, a presale or an "early access" deposit before then, it isn't us.
A coin that isn't finished.
Hold it, propose what it should become, and vote. Or launch your own coin on pump.fun from this site.
Nioc is an independent project built on Shaw's open-source pump.fun code. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by pump.fun, PumpPortal or DEX Screener. Memecoins are highly speculative and can go to zero. Nothing here is financial advice.
